Long Story Short #8: Whiners winners

We all like complaining. Some more, others less. But couple that, with the fact that most people default to following the easiest (as opposed to the ideal) solution when dealing with an unexpected, non-priority issue, and you can see why in many organizations the whiners, are actually the winners.

Update on China’s “Belt And Road Initiative”

Very interesting infographic showing in detail all of the current, as well as planned infrastructure developments of #CN, as part of its “Belt And Road Initiative”. Back To The Drawing Board #7: Road thoughts

Road accidents attract quite a lot of publicity in Cyprus. While I do not believe the problem is as exacerbated over the last few years as reporters present it to be, I am taking the opportunity to suggest improvements on how this could be tackled. These could be applicable to nearly every country though:

A deal was reached on the early hours of 22 July between Greece and its international creditors, regarding the former’s request for debt relief, on the occasion of the end of its macroeconomic adjustment program. Something’s Gotta Give #6: New age marketing

I have oftentimes said through this blog, as well as via other means, that the more technology is advancing, the more intrusive, not to mention abusive, marketing professionals are becoming. From the spreading of the printing press in the 1500s, to the advent of nation-wide telephone systems in the 1900s, to mass e-mail marketing in Read more about Something’s Gotta Give #6: New age marketing[…]
