Very interesting infographic showing in detail all of the current, as well as planned infrastructure developments of #CN, as part of its “Belt And Road Initiative”. China has become more and more aggressive in its economic expansion through strategic acquisitions all over Europe, something that has alarmed many #EU governments due to the increasing reliance of many infrastructure projects on the continent, on a single investor.
Not only that, but China is also using its vast resources to give loans to less developed countries along the “Road” so that they develop their infrastructure, where there is none ready to be purchased. Needless to say that all of the contracts are awarded to Chinese companies, while at the same time, they serve as the perfect tool for holding these small countries “hostages” to the whims of the Chinese government.
