Back To The Drawing Board #10: Justice, vengeance and Dracon

There’s a real issue of delinquent behavior that goes largely unpunished and fuels many western societies with despair. Dracon, in Ancient Athens tried to fix this by instituting harsh punishments for every minor offence. Nowadays, we have ended up on the other end, giving wrongdoers and even common thugs more rights than us. And as Iron Maiden used to say, you cannot call that just.
